Acer palmatum 'Ao Kanzashi' Variegated Japanese Maple

‘Ao Kanzashi’ is a medium sized tree. This variegated leaf emerges as a  bright green center with a violet outside edge in the early spring which fades to a light green by late spring. This cultivar is just absolutely amazing in any garden. At a height of 12-14 ft makes it a  mid-sized tree. ’Ao Kanzashi’ grows best in filtered afternoon light. The fall color is red inside and the light green border which changes to elegant shades of pink and orange.
