Japanese maple

Japanese maple is a common name that usually covers Acer palmatum. These eye-catching maples have 2 seasons of amazing foliage color (in the leaf emergence in the spring and color change in the fall). They also have lots of differences in the leaf patterns such as cut leaf vs matsumurae. With all these choices it allows the homeowner to have multiple maples types without having multiple maples of the color/form. Here at garden treasures we search far and wide to provide you with some of the most amazing Japanese maples you can find on the market. We also do our own grafting under the watchful eye of the world renown plantsman Pat McCracken. Pat uses his years of grafting knowledge to ensure the graft is perfect. In fact most of the time it’s almost impossible to see the graft union.

Our 2023 shipping season has closed, but we are accepting orders for 2024. We will resume shipping in 2024 when it is safe to ship. We will contact you to verify a shipping date on an order-by-order basis close to time of shipping. We can ship all winter to southern states and will hold orders till safe for northern and western states. Most of our plants are produced in very small numbers and we advise ordering as soon as possible to hold your plants till safe to ship. We anticipate being sold out of many items by spring.  Orders we pull and hold for the winter are non refundable.
