Acer palmatum 'Dixie Delight' leaves emerge in the spring a bright chartreuse. As they mature the leaves turn a dark green. 'Dixie Delight' leaves in the fall turn a brilliantly bright orange. But the stunning feature 'Dixie Delight' brings to the garden is it's beautiful winter interest as the bark is bright yellow infused with bright orange. The combination of beautiful colored leaves with outstanding colored bark provides an awesome winter interest and continued interest throughout the season. This selection was introduced by Mike Francis.  Acer palmatum 'Dixie Delight' should grow 6-8 ft high in 15 years.
