Acer palmatum 'Garnet Tower' can produce a variation of color depending on where you plant it.  In full sun, you can expect 'Garnet Tower' to be more a garnet red in color. While if you place 'Garnet Towers' in the shade it will produce leaves that have more of an emerald cast in the center of the leaf with purple maroon edges. In the fall leaves will turn a bright scarlet red that tend to really stand out. Acer palmatum 'Garnet Tower' is a tall, vigorous growing red laceleaf Japanese maple with an arching habit.  You can expect 'Garnet Tower' to reach 10-12 ft high and wide in 15 years.
