Acer palmatum ‘Green Hornet’ has a pendulous growth habit with dainty lace-style leaves. ‘Green Hornet’ leaves emerge in the spring with a pink to orange coloration. As they mature the leaves will turn green for the summer. In the fall the leaves turn a bright  fire engine red. 'Green Hornet' makes an great landscape tree that grows well in sun or shade in most climates.
