Acer palmatum 'Mejishi' is dwarf Japanese maple with textured, curled leaves. 'Mejishi' leaves emerge in the spring a bright green. As the leaves mature they turn a dark green and hold this color throughout the dog days of summer. As the fall starts to cool the leaves will turn an orange-yellow that is pretty spectacular. Expect Acer palmatum 'Mejishi' to reach 5ft high in 10 years. The leaf color is green.
