As summer turns to fall Acer palmatum 'Mystic Mikawa' leaves turn an screaming orange red. 'Mystic Mikawa' has a dwarf growth form with a tightly layered habit. You can expect 'Mystic Mikawa' to reach 3 to 4ft in 15 years. 'Mystic Mikawa' was introduced by Crispin Silva of Crispin nursery.
