Aucuba japonica var. dolichophylla

Aucuba himalaica var. dolichophylla is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with long narrow leaves lighted dotted with yellow.  Aucuba himalaica var. dolichophylla is a  RARELY seen species of Aucuba with narrow leaves lighted dotted with yellow. Aucuba himalaica var. dolichophylla is one of my favorites (yes, I know, too many favorites!) Aucubas due to its very unique long, narrow leaves with large serrations and small yellow spots - very different than other Aucubas.  Aucuba himalaica var. dolichophylla is great as a specimen and even better in mass plantings where its uniquely shaped leaves will add an awesome textural component to your garden!
