Betula x plettkei 'Golden Treasure'

Betula x plettkei 'Gold Treasure' is a dwarf birch with bright golden leaves.  Betual x plettkei 'Gold Treasure' is a very low growing birch (but actually very fast growing initially) that makes a bright golden yellow mound in a full sun location.  This plant has surprised me that it has actually grown well here in our hot garden.  We are technically in too hot a zone for it, but it is performing admirably  Always nice to be surprised  (so long as its a good surprise!)
