Cryptomeria japonica 'Cristata' is a small evergreen conifer tree that produces random crested growth.  Cryptomeria japonica 'Cristata' is an amazing small tree that produces random crested growth that can be used to add interest to cut flower arrangements or to simply add interest to any garden.  Cryptomeria japonica 'Cristata' can become a 15'+ upright tree in time or can be pruned back into a bush form.  Cryptomeria japonica 'Cristata' is probably best used as a specimen where its very unusual crested growth can be appreciated.
