Ilex x attenuata 'Sunny Foster'

lex x attenuata 'Sunny Foster' is an evergreen small tree or large shrub with brilliant yellow foliage fading to green where shaded and has small, red berries in the Autumn and Winter. Ilex x attenuata 'Sunny Foster' is a brilliant addition to a sunny garden where it's upright, conical habit and screaming yellow leaves can be seen from a great distance.  'Sunny Foster' is one of the most brilliant yellow plants we grow and has the added bonus of producing large quantities of bright red fruit from Autumn through Winter.  The older, interior leaves on 'Sunny Foster' fade to green with all the new growth brilliant yellow, then with the red fruits - WOW!  Ilex x attenuata 'Sunny Foster' is great planted as a specimen, best as a group and amazing in masses.  Thanks to Mike Chelednik for use of his photos.
