Leucothoe axillaris 'Curly Red'

Leucothoe axillaris 'Curly Red' is a spreading evergreen shrub with contorted, green leaves.  Leocothoe axillaris 'Curly Red' is a very unusually evergreen shrub due to its very contorted, shiny green leaves that turn a beautiful dark purple in the winter.  Leocothoe axillaris 'Curly Red' is useful in mass plantings, or can be used as a specimen in a location where you can enjoy the highly unusual foliage
