Zelkova serrata 'Bright Park'

Zelkova serrata 'Bright Pink' has brilliant golden yellow foliage in the spring that slowly fades to chartreuse by summer.  Zelkova serrata 'Bright Park' is fairly fast growing and colors best if grown in full sun where it becomes a stunning specimen tree.  Zelkova serrata 'Bright Park' has the added bonus of having orange colored bark - color is more pronounced on younger stems but noticeable even on older trunks as well.  Zelkova serrata 'Bright Park' has excellent yellow to bronze fall color.  We also produce the cultivar Zelkova serrata 'Ogon' which is likely synonymous but we have not grown both plants side by side in the garden to either confirm or deny this. Try both and decide for yourself.  I have observed that 'Bright Park' appears to grow slower for us in containers, so might indicate it is different that 'Ogon'.
