Zelkova serrata 'Ogon'

Zelkova serrata 'Ogon'  has brilliant golden yellow foliage in the spring that slowly fades to chartreuse by summer.  Zelkova serrata 'Ogon' is fairly fast growing and colors best if grown in full sun where it becomes a stunning specimen tree.  Zelkova serrata 'Ogon' has the added bonus of having orange colored bark - color is more pronounced on younger stems but noticeable even on older trunks as well.  Zelkova serrata 'Ogon' has excellent yellow to bronze fall color.  We also produce the cultivar Zelkova serrata 'Bright Park' which is likely synonymous but we have not grown both plants side by side in the garden to either confirm or deny this. Try both and decide for yourself.  'Ogon' appears to grow faster for us in containers than 'Bright Park', so maybe different?
