Zelkova serrata 'Goblin'

Zelkova serrata 'Goblin' is a deciduous, dwarf bushy shrub or very small tree with green leaves. Zelkova serrata 'Goblin' is an extremely dwarf zelkova that has smaller leaves than the species and very short internodes between the leaves.  Zelkova serrata 'Goblin' branches much more densely than the species and would be outstanding as a Bonsai subject but also equally at home in the garden.  With time (many years) 'Goblin' can grow to 15' but easily maintained at 4-5' for decades with careful pruning.
